We were out in the woods for 3 days and 2 nights and we had 2 different campsites. our first site was neat because we were on something like an island. we were completely surrounded by boggy/marshy land with a the river about 20 yards away. all of that water sure made the first night cold though. we all had our share of mishaps too. Jason slipped and cut his hand while taking a "short-cut" off the trail. Brett's boots started to rub him the wrong way and he got a blister on his heel about the size of a 50-cent piece. Jesse didn't pack a warm enough sleeping bag and about froze to death the first night. Jeremiah also got some pretty good sized blisters on the bottoms of his feet.
We all enjoy these trips because they give us a chance to get out and away from everything, and just be manly men haha. it gives us the opportunity to check up on our emergency preparedness skills, and gear and gives us an idea of what we need to do to improve, and what gear would be essentail and then what would be convenient to have.
Love it! I'm going to copy these pics since Brett didn't take a camera.
